Walmart is not a telehealth company, and that is precisely what makes its GLP-1 platform interesting. Rather than building one program, it assembled a marketplace: several independent virtual care partners on one page, feeding prescriptions into Walmart pharmacies and its home delivery network.
Walmart expanded this in April 2026, moving beyond simply dispensing prescriptions into connected virtual care, nutrition and pharmacy. You choose a care partner — Curai Health at $29 a month, Wheel Virtual Clinic with visits from $49 and check-ins at $35, or MyCare by Twin Health — and Walmart handles the pharmacy side.
The other reason to pay attention is Medicare. Walmart runs a dedicated Medicare GLP-1 Bridge page for the CMS program that began July 1, 2026, which is unusual — most telehealth platforms either ignore Medicare patients or exclude them outright.
