Willow review: semaglutide injections, sublingual tablets and subscription terms

What Willow’s $299 semaglutide plans include, how its compounded tablets differ from an approved tablet, and when cancellation takes effect.

By Semaglutide AI · Updated · Earlier coverage recorded 2026-08-30; original publication date unavailable

Willow offers compounded semaglutide in injectable and under-the-tongue tablet forms, alongside other treatments. The two semaglutide pages display the same starting monthly price, but a matching ingredient name and price do not establish matching clinical evidence. The formulation is the first detail to identify before comparing the service.

We reviewed Willow’s current product pages, FAQ, physician directory and August 2026 terms on October 15, 2026. This is a public-information review, without a clinical quality score. We did not become a patient, test a prescription or measure support and delivery performance; the article has not received clinician review.

The tablet’s route matters more than its familiar ingredient

The semaglutide tablet page describes a compounded formulation placed under the tongue. That is the company’s description of its product, not evidence that the preparation has the same absorption, results or approval as an approved semaglutide medicine.

The FDA-filed Wegovy label revised December 2025 identifies its tablets as swallowed whole, with product-specific instructions. That label does not validate a different compounded sublingual formulation. We cite it to distinguish the products, not to provide a dosing plan. Ask the prescriber what evidence supports the exact preparation being proposed.

Willow’s own disclosures say its compounded formulations are not FDA-approved or brand-equivalent. FDA’s explanation of compounding likewise separates compounded products from approved generics. The fact that semaglutide is an ingredient in approved medicines does not transfer their approval to every product containing it.

The public semaglutide offers start at $299 per month

The injectable semaglutide page and sublingual-tablet page each display $299 per month. The tirzepatide injection page displays $399. These are the public offers we observed; they are not a personalized prescription or confirmation that every renewal uses the same amount.

The FAQ says the starting subscription includes personalized medication when prescribed, the medical evaluation and plan, physician access, care-team support and shipping. Its no-hidden-fees wording should be read with the actual enrollment terms and any services obtained outside the platform.

The terms updated August 14, 2026 say the subscription fee can change if the prescription or refill frequency changes, with disclosure and any required consent. They also distinguish separately chargeable care or pharmacy services outside the platform. Ask for the selected recurring amount, billing interval and circumstances that can change the price.

Named physicians do not identify your assigned practice or pharmacy

The operator is Willow Health Services, Inc., which says it is a technology platform rather than a healthcare provider or pharmacy. Its physician page identifies a clinical team including chief medical officer Dr. Michael Green. The terms say a physician licensed for the patient’s location reviews the information and may prescribe when appropriate.

The reviewed pages did not establish the particular legal medical practice and dispensing pharmacy that would serve an individual reader. Ask for both names, the assigned clinician and how treatment questions reach that clinician. We have not independently audited their licences or pharmacy operations.

Willow’s FAQ lists particular eligible states; it does not describe universal availability throughout all 50 states. It also describes program-specific eligibility limits. The state and medical questionnaire must be checked for your circumstances, and payment or intake completion does not guarantee a prescription.

Use the prescription-program deadline, not a supplement policy

The current FAQ says to message the Patient Care Team at least two business days before the next processing date to avoid the next charge. Requests after that cutoff apply to the following cycle. It says cancellation before the prescription is sent to the pharmacy receives a full refund within five to ten business days. Pharmacy submission can happen before shipment.

The main terms also describe cancellation through the account page and generally make incurred charges nonrefundable except under the applicable return policy or law. They say an order is declined and payment returned when the consultation does not result in a required prescription. Obtain the cancellation confirmation and identify whether a prescription has already been sent to the pharmacy.

The separate shop subscription policy, updated July 30, 2026, principally covers a supplement Subscribe & Save program with approximately 90-day deliveries. It expressly says prescription products may have different terms. Its supplement billing schedule should not be substituted for the GLP-1 FAQ’s two-business-day processing cutoff.

Same-day review and two-day shipping are separate claims

Willow advertises a same-day assessment and free two-day shipping. These refer to different stages: clinical assessment must happen before an approved prescription can be prepared and handed to a carrier. The terms describe delivery estimates as nonguaranteed. We did not establish a promise of medication arriving two days after signup.

The FAQ separately says the Patient Care Team responds within 24 hours and describes physician messaging through the portal. Those are company service statements, not timings tested in this review. Confirm how urgent treatment questions are handled and follow the dispensing pharmacy’s product-specific storage guidance if a shipment is delayed.

The platform is described as self-pay, with no insurance required and no claims submitted for its services. HSA/FSA acceptance advertised at checkout is not a determination that every purchase qualifies under a particular benefits plan.

Compare the formulation and the commitment together

The useful questions are specific: which formulation is prescribed, which pharmacy prepares it, what will renew, and when can the next order still be stopped? A convenience preference for tablets does not by itself settle their clinical suitability or evidence.

Our Mondae review covers a different set of compounded injection offers, including longer prepaid terms. Compare its full upfront amount and refund rules with Willow’s selected recurring arrangement rather than ranking the services by their lowest displayed number.

Our first-treatment questions guide helps turn those unresolved product, care and payment details into questions for the treating team.

Sources and review limits

Provider pages and selected plan displays checked October 15, 2026. Company documents describe their own offers and policies. The FDA sources establish product and regulatory distinctions. No purchase, clinical assessment, licence audit or patient outcome was tested.
