That structure suits people who titrate up and then stabilise. Once you are settled on a dose, you are not paying a membership fee every month for a program you barely use — a real cost difference over a year compared with $79 or $99 monthly platforms.
The other advantage is retail. Walgreens has thousands of physical pharmacies, so you can collect medication the same day rather than waiting on a cold-chain shipment, and you have a pharmacist you can actually talk to in person.
